Installation & Maintenance Tips
1. Clean the pulley inner hole, positioning surface, crankshaft front end and fastening bolt before installation, remove oil stains, rust, burrs and impurities, and ensure the mating surface is smooth and flat without obvious scratches.
2. Install the pulley on the crankshaft front end in the correct direction according to the positioning boss, ensure the pulley is fully seated and the matching surface is closely attached; do not strike the pulley hard to prevent structural deformation and damage to the dynamic balance precision.
3. Fasten the fixing bolts in the diagonal sequence according to the specified torque in the Komatsu 6D125 engine manual, and lock with lock washers if necessary to prevent the bolts from loosening due to engine vibration during operation.
4. Check the coaxiality of the pulley and crankshaft after installation, rotate the pulley by hand to confirm smooth operation without jamming or abnormal shaking; adjust the tension of the drive belt to the specified value according to the engine maintenance requirements.
5. Regularly inspect the pulley for signs of damage such as cracking, deformation, belt groove wear and paint peeling during daily maintenance; check the fastening state of the bolts and the operation of the drive system, and replace the pulley in time if any abnormal condition is found.
