Installation & Maintenance Tips

2. Install the bearing in the correct direction according to the marking (if any), avoid reverse installation; press the bearing into the bearing seat evenly with a special tool, do not strike hard to prevent bearing deformation and alloy layer falling off.

3. Ensure the lubricating oil passage is unobstructed before starting the engine, and pre-lubricate the bearing to form an initial oil film and avoid dry friction during cold start.

4. Fasten the connecting rod bolt according to the specified torque in the SAA6D107E engine manual (diagonal sequence fastening), avoid over-tightening or loose fastening to prevent uneven bearing stress and abnormal wear.
