Installation & Maintenance Tips
1. Clean the bearing installation position (crankshaft journal, connecting rod bearing seat, camshaft bearing seat) before installation, remove oil stains, rust, burrs and impurities, and ensure the mating surface is smooth, flat and free of obvious scratches.
2. Install the bearing in the correct direction according to the factory marking (if any), avoid reverse installation; press the bearing into the bearing seat evenly with a special press tool, do not strike hard to prevent bearing deformation, alloy layer falling off or damage to the mating surface.
3. Ensure the engine lubricating oil passage and oil groove are unobstructed before starting the engine, pre-lubricate the bearing surface with clean engine oil to form an initial oil film, and avoid dry friction during cold start.
4. Fasten the bearing cover and connecting rod bolts in diagonal sequence according to the specified torque in the SAA6D107E engine manual, avoid over-tightening or loose fastening to prevent uneven bearing stress and abnormal wear.
5. Regularly check the engine oil quality, oil level and oil pressure, replace the lubricating oil and oil filter according to the maintenance cycle; if abnormal engine noise, violent vibration or sudden oil pressure drop is found, stop the machine for inspection immediately to avoid bearing damage and further expansion of engine faults.
