Core Features
Power Transmission and Speed Adjustment: Engages with paired gears to deliver a rated torque of ≥800N,m, achieving speed reduction with torque amplification (3-5:1 transmission ratio) to power the planer's movement and scraper's lifting/tilting operations. Precise Speed Matching: Stabilizes output speed according to the designed transmission ratio, ensuring synchronization between travel speed (0-18km/h) and scraper action speed for diverse working conditions. Balanced Load Distribution: Uniform force distribution across tooth surfaces disperses transient impact loads, preventing shaft deformation or gear tooth breakage caused by overloading. Transmission Positioning and Guidance: Provides rotational guidance for the drive shaft, maintaining stable gear meshing center distance to minimize transmission errors and vibrations.
Product Superiority
Original Factory Precision Match: Tooth profile, module, and center distance are 100% matched with the GD series transmission system, ensuring no meshing noise or jamming after installation and guaranteeing a transmission efficiency of ≥98%.
High Load Capacity and Impact Resistance: Carburized layer thickness 0.8-1.2mm, tooth root reinforcement treatment, bending fatigue limit ≥800MPa, suitable for heavy-load impact conditions such as mining/roadbed applications.
Low Noise, Wear Resistance, and Long-Lasting Performance: High-precision tooth profile + ground tooth surface, transmission noise ≤82dB; wear-resistant tooth surface layer reduces meshing wear, long-term backlash change ≤0.05mm.
Thermal Stability and Deformation Resistance: Overall heat treatment + aging treatment, tooth profile deformation ≤0.01mm at high temperatures (≤120℃), suitable for continuous operation with temperature fluctuations.
Reliable and Consistent Manufacturing Process: Complete process of "forging - rough machining - carburizing and quenching - fine grinding - flaw detection," free from internal cracks, inclusions, and other defects, ensuring stable batch quality.
Application scenarios and installation tips
Applicable Working Conditions: GD series graders are suitable for regular and heavy-duty operations such as highway subgrade leveling, municipal maintenance, and mine site grading, especially for continuous operation scenarios involving high-frequency speed changes and heavy load impacts.
Installation Instructions: Before installation, clean the gears and shaft keyways and apply extreme pressure gear oil; check the gear surfaces for any bumps or cracks; align the gears according to the original factory markings and adjust the meshing backlash to the standard range; after installation, run the machine under no-load for 5-10 minutes, and put it into use only after confirming there are no abnormal noises or vibrations.
Selection and Replacement Suggestions
Prioritize original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts or parts that meet Komatsu transmission standards to avoid inferior parts that may cause premature gear wear, tooth breakage, and damage to core components such as the gearbox and rear axle due to insufficient material or precision.
When tooth surface wear is ≥0.2mm, tooth root cracks appear, meshing backlash exceeds 0.5mm, or transmission noise increases significantly, it is recommended to replace the gears and their mating gears immediately.
