Core Features
Force Conversion: Converts pedal input force into 10-16MPa brake hydraulic pressure, driving the brake calipers to clamp the friction pads against the brake drum/disc, achieving deceleration or stopping.
Precise Pressure Adjustment: Linearly outputs hydraulic pressure with pedal travel, adapting to different braking intensity requirements such as light-load deceleration and heavy-load emergency stopping, with a braking distance ≤5m (vehicle speed 10km/h).
Circuit Safety Guarantee: Dual-chamber structure independently controls the front and rear brake circuits; in the event of a single-chamber failure, the other chamber can still provide basic braking force, reducing safety risks.
Fluid Replenishment: Linked with the fluid reservoir, automatically replenishes fluid during braking and recovers brake fluid upon release, maintaining sufficient fluid and stable pressure in the circuit.
Product Superiority
Original Factory Precise Compatibility: Installation dimensions and interface specifications are 100% compatible with the GD series braking system, ensuring no jamming or leakage after installation, and achieving a braking efficiency of ≥95%.
Pressure and Fatigue Resistance: The pump body is made of cast iron with a compressive strength of ≥250MPa. The piston is chrome-plated for wear resistance, suitable for high-frequency braking conditions, with long-term pressure decay ≤5%.
Durable and Reliable Sealing: Nitrile rubber sealing rings + dust covers provide double protection, offering strong anti-aging and oil resistance, preventing brake fluid leakage, and suitable for high-temperature/dust environments.
Linear Braking Response:The piston-cylinder wall clearance is ≤0.02mm, ensuring good linearity between pedal force and output pressure, stable operation, and preventing brake deviation.
Low Maintenance Costs:Standard interfaces and wear parts are interchangeable, making it easy to replace seals and other accessories, extending overall service life and reducing downtime for maintenance.
Application scenarios and installation tips
Applicable Working Conditions: GD series graders are suitable for routine and heavy-duty operations such as highway subgrade leveling, municipal maintenance, and port site grading, especially for continuous operation scenarios involving frequent starts and stops and long downhill braking.
Installation Instructions: Before installation, clean the pump body and connecting parts, and check that the piston is not stuck and the seals are undamaged; tighten the mounting bolts to the original torque; when venting, first loosen the vent screw, press the pedal until no air bubbles are expelled, and then tighten the screw; after installation, test the brakes 3-5 times under no-load to confirm that the braking pressure is normal and there is no leakage before putting it into use.
Selection and Replacement Suggestions
Prioritize original factory parts or components compliant with Komatsu's braking standards to prevent substandard parts from causing insufficient pressure or leakage due to poor material quality or sealing, which may lead to brake failure risks. When the brake pedal travel increases, brake pressure decreases, leakage occurs, or brake response becomes sluggish, it is recommended to immediately replace the brake pump, its sealing rings, and brake fluid.
